had a confirmed and paid booking for 4 rooms.. we got there at exactly 2 pm for checkin and requested all rooms to be in the same floor as we had kids and senior citizens with us. reception said there housekeeping wasnt done yet bu there were ready rooms 2 at the 10f and 2 at the 12f . we said we were willing to wait for rooms to be available...i mean surely it wouldnt take them hours just to clean 2 rooms. she said well be given a temporary room we can stay in..we were taken to room 2604 and advised to wait for their call..that was around 230. at 3pm we were advised that there was already a room available at 12f. a bellboy fetched us gave us key to room 1212 and got back the key of 2604..all four families crowded in that room... after incessant follow ups at 430 they gave us the key to room 1201..around 445 they gave us the key to room 1214 and another set of keys fod 1201 again ..at 5pm we were so fed up with their excuse to wait since there was only 1 person handling the housekeeping per floor.. what kind of a lame excuse is that? they promote themselves as a luxurious business hotel with expensive rates yet they cant hire enough people to clean? even if that were the case it wouldnt take 3 hours to clean the 4 rooms we paid for..i nearly shouted at the reception when she insisted that the based on theid stupid records we had already checked in at 2pm
close to 530 the reception called to insist they have already given us 4 rooms 1212 1214 1201 and 2604.. she even had the gall to say we misunderstood her that 2604 was not a holding room and there was no hotel policy about holding rooms... i said she was obviously lying bec not onlg were there 3 witness the bell service also got back the key for 2604 in exhange for the key to 1212...and why would we agree to a room at the 26f when in the first place we didnt agree for rooms at 10f and 12f
around 530 we finally agreed to take room 1012 so we can all rest... and what do you know? the keys only work on the floor were your room is.. my brother at the 10fcannot get his thing s from us at the 12f
we didnt experience this inefficiency when we booked and stayed in 4 rooms last year
the breakfast buffet has also sufferred... there were fewer choices the bread section is limited and consisted of tasteless and hard pastries... yogurt was repackaged in exposed dishes and fruitz werent so fresh..
i would not go back to f1 again..
