We have just returned from an overnight stay and could not find fault with anything. The room was beautiful and the staff friendly whilst professional. Food was delicious, We will definitely go back, it was great value for such luxury.

Room Tip: Executive suites are very special, large and beautifully furnished. Quiet location.

stayed in one of the executive suites and included wine and breakfast through an itison deal which was already an excellent deal but was also one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. I would recommend this hotel wanting a wee bit of luxury without breaking the bank.

We recently had a meal at the Lynnhurst after booking our daughters wedding.
The standard of service was not great and I contacted the hotel re this issue.
The manager responded to the query and I am sure the problems we experienced are not typical.
The food and atmosphere was very good and i will be returning to the Lynnhurst for another meal soon.

My Brother just married his wife at this location and I cannot fault it at all. The venue, staff and rooms were all fantastic.
I see that the previous review is quite negative and after having my own dealings with the hotel I can only assume that this is a rather unfortunate one off as all the dealings I had with the hotel and the staff were positive.
I was asked to be best man for the wedding and the staff liaised directly with me if there were any issues on the day. There was a minor issue with the wedding cake (An outside company and nothing to do with the hotel) but even so the hotel dealt with the issue, and sorted it before the bride even had a chance to worry!

The room in which the wedding to place was clean and well presented. It was a lovely little intimate room and well set up. The cocktail bar was also set up for us and it was well staffed and clean. None of the guests had to wait to long to be served. It was good service all round.

When we sat down for the Wedding Breakfast the service was again good, the food was exceptional and there was not too much waiting between courses. The bar was open throughout and although people were constantly getting drinks I did not see a queue form at all.

My brother was staying in Room 1 (Burns Suite) and the room was amazing. No review could actually do it any justice but it was amazing. The bedroom was clean and well made. The shower room was the same size as my sons bedroom!! And the sunken Jacuzzi with fireplace was simply divine. Anyone staying in this room will have a lovely relaxing night.

All in all this hotel has done a fantastic job and should be pleased with themselves. Its easy to see why people do come here for weddings as they pull out all the stops.

Room Tip: Choose a Suite as they are amazing!

My son got married 25th October here.
Cannot fault management,staff,rooms,food etc.
Considering they had 7 weddings booked that week we still felt special!
Nothing too much trouble!
If you are looking for a venue i thoroughly recommend the Lynnhurst!!

recently stayed at the Lynnhurst hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Although there was a mix up with the original booking - this was all sorted out in time and credit to the Manager of the hotel for dealing with the matter.
Stayed one night in the Wallace execuitve room which was lovely before moving to the honeymoon suite on the second night - the honeymoon suite is worth the upgrade. also received bottle of wine in the room as well as part of the deal.
The staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful.
Had dinner one of the evenings in the bar and the food was delicious and not too pricey as the hotel was running a deal of 2 courses for £9.95.
Also used Leisure facilities at Bowfield hotel - gym is really nice after refurbishment. Pool was rather cool but facilties on the whole are decent.
The hotel is in the flight path for Glasgow Airport and you can hear the aeroplanes but this didnt bother us too much.

Would definately stay again at the hotel.

Room Tip: definately worth staying in the Exectutive rooms or honeymoon suite

I stayed at this hotel in a exc room which was lovley, clean and tidy.the hotel was lovely if only it wasnt looking onto a housing estate. We also had dinner within the lounge with the food out of this world the service was a bit off. with only 2 staff on and a few tables they where pushed to there limits there was long waiting times between courses and we had to attend the bar and ask for more drinks after finishing dinner we were also not asked if we would like desserts or tea/coffee.apart from this we had a lovely short stay at the lynnhurst hotel.
