Well what to say............Julia and Boskenna Home Farm provided the perfect recipe for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Found Boskenna through previous Tripadvisor reviews and they truely proved accurate. Julia was a fantastic host(ess) with a warm and very friendly reception on arrival (along with Chloe the Spaniel). The accommodation was fanatastic with superb standards and tranquility beyond belief, especially at night with the only sounds being the occasional cow and the sea in the distance. All was rounded off by a lovely breakfast. Great value for money and Boskenna thoroughly deserves all the compliments it receives..........simply brilliant and I cannot recommended enough. Eating out was also great with the local in Treen (The Logan Rock) providing great food at great value (good honest pub grub) and a very nice pint of Tribute.

Room Tip: Room 3 was great with the rising sun first thing in the morning.

This was the second time we stayed in Boskenna Cottage, and it won't be the last. It's quiet, private and superbly appointed thoughout. And it's the perfect base for exploring the beautiful West Penwith region. Already looking forward to returning in 2013!

We stayed two weeks in Boskenna Cottage and it was perfect. Nice, very private location, good starting point for cliff path walks and trips through West-Cornwall The cottage was very spacious with al the equipment necessary and a luxury bathroom. We had nice weather so we used the garden often. The owners are very nice and helpful, though keeping enough distance.
We can recommend this cottage to people who prefer luxury and a quiet location.

What a fantastic break away we had. We stayed in one of the ensuite courtyard rooms -the room was excellent- comfy bed, very peaceful and very spacious. We even had a small fridge in our room-which was an neat extra to keep our walking supplies cool! The breakfasts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Julia. If you ever need to get away then we would really recommend this place. It's in such an unspoilt part of Cornwall and if you do need WIFi then it's possible in the main house- but you would be better to get out, walk off the breakfast and enjoy the moors and coast!!

located five miles away from Penzance, nice car park and a walk through a courtyard into the main house. Welcomed with team and biscuits and shown the room. The bed for me was a little hard but the room was nice with a fridge, ipod/iphone charger and tea and coffee. Ensuite room very nicly appointed. Breakfast was very nice. We will stay here again and would love to try a room on the courtyard.

Room Tip: The newish rooms look very nice but you do pay more for them

In 2007 we stayed in one of the renovated stables, this time (2011) we selected the self-contained “Boskenna Cottage’ to stay in for three (3) weeks. Again, Julia and Godfrey were the perfect hosts always mindful of their guests needs.

From the décor, to the cleanliness of the cottage, the comfy king size bed, the spacious kitchen with the adjoining combined meals and family area, to watching Godfrey go about the farms daily work to relaxing outside and enjoying the Cornish night stars and the quietness of the location, it was all beautiful. Yes, it would have been nice to have wi-fi in the cottage but it was available in the main house 100 mtrs away and at the local St Buryan Hotel which is great for meals.

Thank you so much Julia and Godfrey – I would highly recommence 'Boskenna Cottage' not only to Australians visting Cornwall, but anyone wanting a Farm Stay that is truly exceptional and óne out of the box’ for comfort, relaxation and beautiful location.
