Very affordable and comfortable resort with everything you need. Extremely close to restaurants, parks and the beach. A great find! Did not need the car at all and could walk to everything. The units on the higher floors have great views over Moreton Bay. Wonderful to sit on your balcony and enjoy a champagne!

Room Tip: Rooms with views are the best!

We stayed for four night in a studio and enjoyed our stay.
Room was bug enough with a comfy bed great bathroom and a nice tv, small fridge microwave and kettle alon with a toaster for a bit of cooking. Loads of parking.
A nice area and close enough to the city to drive in and have most of the day.
Staff were all friendly and very helpful. I would recomend it.

We stayed at the Scarborough Beach Resort for 1 night in April, 2013. The hotel was great value for money! The room was clean, well equipped and a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful. I wish we'd been staying longer!

Spent 2 nights here; had an apartment ..spacious, pragmatic interiors but lacking a touch of warmth. The large living + dining room had one working ceiling light (dining area) whereas the living room portion was in total darkness at night ..the ceiling light didn't work and it would have been helpful to have at least a floor lamp - the bathroom had more atmosphere with its lights ..but one doesn't live in the bathroom of course.

Wifi connection is strong but you pay in full for each device.

This is a nice hotel property, in a perfect location ...its just a shame that there is so little attention to detail; to sit in the evenings in a badly lit large room doesn't exactly make you feel warm and fuzzy. I had to switch on the outside balcony light just to have the luxury of a bit of light shining into the living room.

To find perishables in the fridge from a previous guest doesn't make you feel better about this place either. Makes you think ..does ever anyone check the rooms before and after ?

Mediocrity prevails.

Please note that the hotel reception closes at 5pm.

Try Danny's Restaurant on the ground floor ...very enjoyable.

Room Tip: Try and get a higher floor facing the beach ..great sunsets ..

My room was spotlessly clean, more than spacious with a beautiful bathroom, walk in wardrobe, iron, ironing board, safe, and small kitchen. Had a beautiful spa and pool. Location was excellent, on the beachfront, next to restaurants, cafes, fish and chips shop.

The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond advising on trips and things to do in the area. Highly recommended!!

Arrived to check in and found that my on-line booking was for a small motel style room. Not what we had originally wanted, but because we did it on-line and after reception had closed, we couldnt really find out what our room would be like. Reception staff were wonderful and changed our room to another with kitchen and balcony. What a lovely place, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location is perfect for seaside rest and relax. Not to far from Brisbane, and close enough to all needed amenities,. Thanks to the staff for a great visit. We are most certainly coming back and will recommend this resort to everyone. Alfio and Lyn

Room Tip: The rooms with balconies don't all have good views. Ours did not have a good view. What we lost...

We have just returned from our third stay at the 'Scarborough Beach Resort' and have found that the level of comfort in the apartments has been maintained over the time we have been staying there. Each apartment we have stayed in has had a different configuration (we have stayed in both two and three bedroom apartments) but we have always had an ocean view and once also had a view to the hinterland.

This time we stayed on the 2nd floor and faced the ocean. The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfy, there were two airconditioners as well as fans, it was very quiet with little noise audible from other apartments, there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen and the balcony was large with nice outdoor furniture. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful and even though we checked in after hours, it was an easy process. There was never any trouble getting a secure car park, either! We didn't use the pool this time, but have before and it was very clean and good to cool off in.

It is well situated in Scarborough, with newsagent, chemist, restaurants and coffee shops close by, so you don't have to take the car out to find what you need. Scarborough itself seems to be the quieter part of the Redcliffe peninsula, with the busiest days being the weekend, when a quite a few families visit for the day. There is a nice concreted walking path along the waterfront which is a good way to get the sea breeze!

Room Tip: Request a room on one of the higher levels to get the best ocean views.
