“Fabulous location with views to die for”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We stayed at the Tally Ho for 2 nights. The bedrooms are very nice and spotlessly clean. The main part of the Inn is fascinating, the dining area was a little tired but adequate. The breakfast was very nice and the landlord and his wife were very friendly. We would certainly stay again.

We stayed one night at this Inn last Friday 12th July. The welcome was warm and we were shown to an attractive bedroom with absolutely stunning views over the countryside. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden and then had dinner of steak and followed by ice creams which were local and delicious.
Met some very interesting locals and all the staff were extremely friendly and I would recommend anyone to a night (or more) at the Tally Ho.

We were given a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The room was clean bright and well equipped, overlooking the garden area. The bar has a good selection of wines and real ales. Our dinner choices were a sizzling steak for my wife and I had home made spicey meatballs with potato and leek mash, both dishes were exellent.Breakfast was equally very good in the conservatory dining room with stunning views over open countryside towards the Brecon Beacons (I think!!).All in all we had a very pleasant stay and we were treated to some of the very friendliest and best service possible, and at approx £65 b&b great value as well.

Room Tip: Tru not to get a room overlooking the carpark or you'll miss the wonderful views.

Lovely setting and views, food was ok, rather large portions, good value for money. I was slightly disappointed with my steak, was a little chewy! Rest of the family enjoyed their meals, burgers and gammon!

Stayed at the Tally Ho for just one night to break a long journey. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely crisp white sheets on a comfy bed. Typical English Inn with good food at reasonable prices. We opted to keep it simple and just ordered a sandwich which was substantial. There is a large grassed garden and childrens play area which has stunning views over the surrounding countrside. The breakfast was good and plentiful and cooked to order.
Would stop there again.

I stayed for one night in the Tally Ho Inn. It was allready late and we were desperately looking for an accomodation as we came across The Tally Ho. We were welcomed warmly. The room was small but well equiped and the food was excellent. And all this for a reasonable price.
