This is a little gem. It really is, clean, spacious, everything you need is there, towels, tea towels, cleaning stuff, even dishwasher tablets. There was a cake and biscuits and apple juice to welcome us. Instructions very clear. Location is less than 5 mintues walk to beach.
we stayed as we had a wedding in the Gallivant, again less than 5 minutes walk away. and I promise you this place is MUCH better and a damn sight lot cheaper than the gallivant. !!
We will be returning in the summer to make use of the lovely garden and BBQ

Thank David and Angela for all your help and patience with this booking.

“Gorgeous stay”
Reviewed November 27, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Lovely house, welll appointed so really a home from home. On a small development a couple of roads back from the beach but only a 2 minute drive to the beach car park. Beach is lovely. Definitely worth a trip to Rye and to Knoops which only sell hot chocolate with a huge menu of options. Just what you need after a bracing walk on the beach.

“Great holiday cottage”
Reviewed November 3, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We really enjoyed our stay here - apple juice and cake to welcome us which was much appreciated. Lovely clean cottage - great for dogs especially with the beach so close by. We stayed with our children and one grandparent and were very comfortable. I would recommend this cottage.

“Fabulous cottage for humans and dogs!”

Myself and friend, along with 2 Jack Russell dogs booked Kittiwake Cottage for a week's holiday.
The cottage was very clean and modern and even a 'goody bag' left for us. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. The lounge was very comfortable with TV, DVDs and internet. Downstairs cloakroom very spacious.
The fenced garden was ideal for the dogs to run around in without worrying.
Upstairs, again, very well appointed and totally themed with the rest of the house. Main bedroom and en suite excellent and other two bedrooms well appointed as well.
Beach just across the road and the sand dunes and beach stretch for miles.
Unfortunately, only sections of the beach open for dog walking until 30th September, so be aware of that.
Salts Farm Shop excellent for snacks and local produce.
Best place to eat being The Globe Marsh Rye. Superb fresh fish and excellent service at reasonable prices.
A personal 'Thank You' to Angela and David for their efficiency and total understanding when I made a mistake in booking the date.
Cannot rate highly enough.

“Great cottage in a wonderful area”
Reviewed August 18, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We are very pleased with the cottage. It is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. Lots of lovely local ornaments
and art work. We are here as a family and have really enjoyed ourselves. Had great fun at the birdman competition in Worthing and looking around the quaint town of Rye. Hastings has the aquarium, castle and caves. Camber sands is just a few minutes walk away. It is an amazing expanse of sand and at two miles long it never feels crowded. One real advantage of booking Kittiwake cottage was the fact that dogs are welcome. Our cockapoo dog has had an amazing time. His first experience of the sea and waves was great to witness. We highly recommend this cottage and the surrounding area.

“Excellent cottage close to sandy beach”
Reviewed May 29, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The cottage was pristine. Kitchen is very well equipped. It's about 5 minutes walk to Camber Sands beach. 5 minutes walk to super market. Very dog friendly ie. enclosed garden with high fence. I would rent again.
