not too far away from resort, even though you have to walk a bit to get to the sandy bit.
great shops on the beach but expensive. great afternoon out building sandcastles and paddling in the sea with the kids.

“Beach”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Best beach for miles, even on a windy day in march it was beautiful, the tided seems to go out for miles and the dunes are rugged and natural.

“Clean Shell covered Beach”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Lovely space, clean beach, no dogs allowed but did see a couple there in the evening. Freshly racked in the morning. Good for sunsets.

“Good Location for Beach”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

Booked for short break. Would return as it served purpose for our stay. Facilities as expected on a caravan/chalet/camping site. Costa on site (not an express either) was an unexpected added bonus. Very close to beach cafes and restaurants - The Green Owl is an excellent choice of restaurant and is approximately 20 minute walk on the Old Lydd Road and worth looking for.

“Fantastic but too many dogs”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

what a wonderful beach, miles of unspoilt beautiful sand dunes; its such a shame there are so many dogs running free causing chaos. Why do dog owners expect others to look after their pooches? I would recommend getting there early as parking is difficult when busy. Also bring a picnic as the cafe is very basic.
