“Great Place”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

I am lucky to live just up the road from the Colliers and visit at least once a week with friends for a lovely lunch and great coffee. We also take the kids and enjoy a fish and chip supper on a Friday. The food has never let us down, the service is really good and the staff always friendly. If its sunny we sit out on the terrace and enjoy the view! The shop is small but very well stocked and they are adding new things (like daily papers) all the time. Its been renovated really well and is so much nicer than the old Colliers which was like stepping back into the 70"s.

“Great visit”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

Twelve of us descended without warning on the Colliers Arms at lunchtime on 16th August. We were accommodated without trouble although it was fairly busy. Everyone was happy with a good variety of hot and cold snacks and lunches to meet their various needs and there was a good choice of drinks, including cider and draught beers. The shop was interesting and had a mixed range of food and non-food items in a fairly limited space.

“Nice fresh food which is locally sourced.”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

It is great to see a business diversifying in order to expand its business and serve the local community. The Colliers Arms is no longer a pure pub and has been converted into tastefully decorated tea room and local shop. The fare is locally sourced and well presented on the plate. There is a diverse menu from all-day-breakfasts to cakes. For beer lovers, the shop out the back has a huge range of beers from the both the UK and continent. Clearly, the owner must be a keen supporter of CAMRA.
