It is great to see a business diversifying in order to expand its business and serve the local community. The Colliers Arms is no longer a pure pub and has been converted into tastefully decorated tea room and local shop. The fare is locally sourced and well presented on the plate. There is a diverse menu from all-day-breakfasts to cakes. For beer lovers, the shop out the back has a huge range of beers from the both the UK and continent. Clearly, the owner must be a keen supporter of CAMRA.

Busy car park - busy restaurant with all age ranges represented. Locally sourced food cooked with a passion and served by a team who really care about what they do. In short a pleasure to experience.

We stopped here for a delightful cup of coffee and cake and was very impressed to find that they had free internet that come in handy... They had a great little shop there as well especially with the wide range of beers they had which my husband was very happy with... Great place will definately be back.

Called here at Saturday lunchtime, travelling back from a holiday in Wales. The listing in the 2012 Good Beer Guide is out of date, and we didn't find the pub we were expecting. However, we were not in any way disappointed, as the food was good, the service was friendly, and Dad still got a decent pint of Hobsons bitter. Two courses for 3 people, including one round of drinks came to £46, which was good value for money. The shop stocks local produce and a very wide range of bottled beers. With so many pubs closing down, I've no problem with an innovative enterprise like this, seeking to serve a wider community. What they do, they do well. We don't pass this way often, but will definitely call in next time we are in the area.
