Our third visit to this lovely place. We keep returning because it is a fantastic place that suits everyone's needs. Jim & Gillian & Bee are very welcoming and are very dog friendly. It is a great pathway to North Cornwall, each visit we find different places and wonderful beaches. The site is very well maintained and clean. The lodges are spacious and you don't feel overlooked. The swimming pool and spa bath add to the relaxation experience and there is a sense of calm around the site. Overall a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the scenery while indulging in hobbies like fishing and swimming.

Our lodge (Tamar) was very roomy, with all home comforts, and scrupulously clean. The grounds are beautiful, with three fishing lakes and many places to sit and relax.
The fishing was adequate, with 3-4 good carp per day (average 6-8 lbs) and plenty of roach.

This was our 6th trip to Forda - every year of returning we are not disappointed. We never want to return home! The lodges are extremely well equipped and clean and the views are spectacular. Our two boys absolutely love it here (ages: 9 and 14). Our 9 year old loves the ducks and can't wait to feed them every day. I can honestly say this is the only place where we feel we can totally relax. Jim and Gillian are very welcoming - we now feel part of the family! The on site facilities are very clean and the spa treatments are a fantastic bonus. It is in the perfect location to tour different parts of Cornwall. Can't wait to return next year - definitely a hidden gem! Bassett-Jones family, Cardiff

This was our second stay ar Forda. Lodge was cosy and clean. The view over the bottom Lake beautiful. The silence was deafening, the loudest noise being a persistent Woodpecker that had a taste for an electricity pole. We took our 2 cocker spaniels who also loved the area, endless local walks, and dog friendly beaches. I fished most days in the top lake, and had a variety of fish with Roach over a pound, bream over 2 pound, carp and tench to 6 pound, but considerably larger ones caught the week before we arrived. Couldn't have a massage this visit because Keighley had a broken wrist. The owners Jim & Gillian are on site and extremely approachable and willing to help or advise at all times. Highly recommended.

Excellent lodges in the Cornish Countryside, views of fishing lakes, peace and tranquility out of season. Self Catering, but recommend the take away pizza who deliver.
Had a great massage at a reasonable massage, nice small indoor pool.
They make you feel really welcome and they take well behaved dogs. Be aware that the bathroom is downstairs for all those who sleepwalk or need to get up in the night.
Spotlessly clean, tennis court for the energetic. We would recommend it.

Great accommodation and facilities, helpful owners, good fishing, beautiful surroundings - what more could you want! It was very quiet and peaceful and although the weather wasn't wonderful we had a great week. Catching good fish (we caught 8lb carp, 3lb bream, 1lb roach and rudd), then a swim, sauna and jacuzzi and finishing the day with a good meal at a local pub. Other visitors had been coming there for years and we can see why.
