Been here about four times now. Beautiful place but the service is dreadfully slow. Not enough waitresses so not their fault. Someone is making a lot of money me thinks. My friend and I left after a 40 minute wait and lunched elsewhere.

We visited our friends who were already set up with their caravan. On arrival at reception we were given a great intro to the site and a comprehensive visitors brochure etc. We were guided to pitch 7 and quickly got set up, and that was the beginning of a fantastic day.

We have just done a 4 night stay in the Teal lodge, check in times (4:00pm) are a little late in my opinion but that aside the park is very well kept apart from the drive is due a resurface. Guest have to put a £150 card deposit down in case of any damages. Anyway the lodge was very nice beds are very comfortable and both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Living space is a good size , kitchen does miss a dishwasher and not many wine glasses only plastic one’s the kitchen sink had a wonky tap. Now we booked this lodge for its covered hot tub that we were able to use except for the last night, this is because it had a weird smell and the water was turning green. The restaurant was nice and food was cooked well, we did ask for a dish that wasn’t in the menu and they made it for us.
The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxed. All in we had a good stay, but probably won’t return.

Good Afternoon Paul C,

Thank you for taking the time to review Caistor Lakes. We are glad that you did enjoy your stay with us here, despite the few issues that you have highlighted. We apologise for you not being able to use the hot tub the last night of your stay, and can assure you that we would have rectified the situation had it been brought to the attention of the staff. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the food in the restaurant and that they were accommodating of your menu needs.

Kind Regards
