“Test Match Visit”

Trent Bridge Cricket Ground

I spent two days at Trent Bridge watching the recent test match. The stadium is one of the best that I have been to, the ground has been developed with the spectator in mind. All of the seats had an excellent view and close top the action, unlike some grounds where massive grand stands dominate.

At times the main areas behind the stand were congested. The food avaialble at a variety of vendors was very ground.

I look forward to my next visit to Trent Bridge.

Went for one day to see Test match, wonderful ground and the staff could not have been more attentive. Didn't walk more than three yards without attendants offering help or advice. Food stalls were great with local (and specialist) suppliers selling great produce. All in all a wonderful day for the family or friends....and the cricket wasn't bad either. Have not been to an event in the UK that compares for a great day out.

Had a brilliant day out, weather was warm and England broke records! Great atmosphere all day and lots of banter. Plenty to eat and drink your never far from a bar! Reasonably priced for drink, didn't go to food outlets as we took our own food. Unlike some sports venues like football and rugby, you can take your own food and drink (not alcohol unfortunately). Bags are checked on arrival don't take glass bottles or tins, these will be confiscated! We found the best place to park was Queens Park, Park & Ride. £5 per car all day secure parking! Only took 10 minuets to get to the ground. Bus ran regularly to the ground just look for test cricket signs. Last bus left 1 hour after close of play. So no panic about missing last bus or missing the end of the days cricket. Park and ride times and info on Nottinghamshire website. Well laid out ground, staff very helpful if you get lost! They also had a mobile phone charging area (free). Wish i'd read the info card first! Will definitely visit again.

My first visit to Trent Bridge on Thursday 10th July was a lovely experience.
Everyone polite and very helpful. The 7 hours flew by.
Little pricey on drinks, but then everything is always priced up.

A really good couple of days at a ground I've not been to before. Its got less of a corporate eel than other grounds I've been to. The only downside was the actual pitch prepared for the Test Match was port making for slow but high scoring making a result difficult to achieve. The other downside is that just the same as everywhere else prices are ridiculous for food and drink
