We stayed at the Plough Inn at Ford for 1 night whilst walking the Cotswolds way. We arrived soaking wet in the pouring rain and had a wonderfully friendly welcome from their Hungarian waiter (I wish I'd caught his name!). He quickly showed us to our room in the accommodation just a few steps from the pub.
Our room had plenty of space and was lovely and warm - the dressing gowns were a nice touch after the lovely hot showers as well. Dinner was two massive Ploughman's - one of the best I've ever had, particularly with the pickles and pork pie.
Breakfast was similarly wonderful, cooked to absolute perfection and Craig was then also kind enough to give us a lift a mile up the hill back to the trail to get on our way again. So overall a really wonderful experience, and we'd highly recommend them.More
