Only stayed for one night but we had a lovely refurbished room - very high standard of furnishings/bathroom etc. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. Made very welcome by the staff. Have already recommended this small hotel to another 2 couples for a hideaway in the Cotswolds.

Stayed one night, all rooms recently refurbished and very nice. The food is good pub food and the breakfast was great - good quality ingredients and nicely cooked. Would definitely stay again - it is very well priced for what it is. They have 3 fireplaces so a winter evening there would be very cosy I am sure.

I am sorry that previous visitors have not enjoyed this place. The rooms have just been refurbished so are in excellent condition although a little small- but it was a coaching inn so this is to be expected! - checked in with no problems at all - despite it being a relief manager that week. Dinner was superb with a good selection plus specials of the day and the breakfast was good the following morning. Could not fault this lovely B&B and would definitely stay again. Well Done and Thank you!

We arrived later than expected and had a strange comment about where we'd been. We were taken to our double room with wheelchair access to find it was a small, dark twin room as far from the bar as you can get - not good with a disability. You couldn't even push the beds together as they point end to end. When we explained it was not what we had booked we were told they could only apologise and it was an error with the online booking. We ordered a drink, thinking maybe they'd offer it on the house as an apology, but no. They moved us to a double room the second night which was better. We just found the atmosphere a bit strange the whole weekend. The food was OK (apart from an unpleasant citrus risotto) and but expensive. We spent £280 in total on food, drink and accommodation for 2 nights and it definitely wasn't worth it.

Found this Inn one evening during our travels around the Cotswolds, and had dinner on their outdoor patio with a postcard setting. Food was delicious, service was spotty, but it was a dream-like experience for this Texas girl. Granddarlin had a hard time finding something she thought she would like, and settled with the Ham & Eggs, which you can't go wrong with. Enjoyed the Pate starter very much.
