Having traveled to Satis House Hotel at least six times bringing friends along to share this wonderful find and enjoying outstanding fine cuisine, we decided to have a three night stay. Kevin, David and all the staff are always exceptionally attentive. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The room was large, with beautiful decor, comfortable and with a view of the vast old trees and sweeping lawn. A lot of thought has been put into the little extras. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc were of an unusually good standard. There was a well stocked fridge. If you fancy watching a movie, you can chose from over 500 DVDs. You really should experience this lovely Hotel.
It is rather nice to know this is where Dickens wrote 'Great Expectations'.More
