We recently stayed here for one night while visiting a friend who lives in the area. The Grange was perfect, a clean and comfortable place to stay which felt like home. There is a nice lounge area to relax in which meant that we weren't stuck in our room or feeling that we were intruding in the family house. Sarah and her husband were very helpful, it really couldn't have been better. We'll most definitely stay here again when we're up that way and in need of a place to stay. Recommended without hesitation.

We spent two nights with our 16month old little boy and they could not have made us feel more welcome, they were so helpful and Finlay had a lovely collection of toys to play with at breakfast ( along with a high chair and own bowl) the breakfast was amazing as so flexible with the times and choice was great. Finlay enjoyed splashing about in the monster bath and even though the bathroom was seperate ( but our private one) we never meet anyone on the way to the bathroom and felt like an ensuite. The room was lovely and we all got a good night sleep.

I have just returned from a trip to Normanton, unfortunately the break was too short. Sarah could not be more helpful. The room was lovely and the ensuite large and spotless. There was no being rushed away from the breakfast table or check out time. I was made to feel comfortable and had a lovely experience in this little peaceful home away from home. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Well done Sarah and Stewart!

Spent a few nights staying here whilst on a training course in Castleford. If there was ever a model of how to run a B&B this would be it. The welcome could not have been better, despite my very late arrival. The room was exceptional in all respects, very comfortable bed, exceptionally clean, nice hot power shower etc absolutely faultless. There is no change of disturbances at night as it is located in a very quiet residential area, so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. The food is also outstanding and everything is prepared fresh and you will not go hungry. The owners (Sara and Steward) could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, it is just like staying with your own family. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed for 7 nights. Stewart and Sara looked after me as if I was family. I had the best time. The food was excellent. All of the food was prepaired especially for me from scratch and was excellent. The room was clean, bed comfortable, there were "black out shades" in the room to prevent the morning sun from coming in. The sitting room that looked out to the back yard was cozy and perfect. The books they had told of the area and history. I felt safe there, being locked in with the gate. It was a small fortress aound the whole place. The doggie Bridgett was a friendly girl and was not a bother at all. Sara and Stewart accomodate you at all cost. They are willing to help using their own computer and phones to assist you. Sara even let me make an international call on her phone due to a travel glitch I was having. Not enough space to type all fo the good.... ABSOLUTLY PERFECT!

Room Tip: I had the Beaumont Room and it was the best in the house. That bathroom and bath tub was spectacula...

This was a lovely B&B, welcoming to the whole family and rightly noted as luxury. They made a fuss of the kids like true grandparents & were very kind, hospitable & very accommodating. Great breakfast too! We'll be back again soon.
