What can I say friendly staff nothing is too much trouble ,huge garden area ideal if you have small children you can let them run and play while the adults chat ,Fab outdoor barbecue this restaurant is the first place my whole family think of if we want a fantastic meal at fair prices.
We keep coming back never had a bad meal ,one of my top five favourite locations to eat.
And I'm fussy and the Plough ticks all the boxes .

Have been to The Plough many times having lived a few miles away, but not for several years since I moved away. We booked in for a quick meal on a Friday night.

Starters - deep fried mozzarella and duck parcels - were very nice, and very big portions.

Mains were fantastic - I had a massive steak, very nicely cooked, very pleasant sides.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, but we felt they were a little too keen - it felt a bit like they were hovering waiting for us to finish. Anyway, small issue, but great overall.

I hadn't been here for years, despite living 2 miles away. Decided to re-visit on a Saturday night to satisfy a fajita craving. Good move! Really enjoyed it.
The menu is a mixture of pizza, pasta, ribs, fajitas, salads etc. The combined fajita was a huge pile of beef, chicken and prawns which was more than we could eat (almost!). Dessert was nothing special unfortunately.
The service was reasonably attentive and friendly but this place does get busy and we had to chase down a few forgotten drinks. Nothing major and sorted straight away.
We will definitely go back for fajitas soon!
