Just what we wanted for afew days holiday although there was plenty of places we didnt have time to visit.Near enough to Edinburgh to visit the attractions there. The holiday home was very comfortable ,warm and clean .We will certainly use this caravan when visiting this area.Thank you Kay.
Lovely caravan with three bedrooms two at one end with their own shower room and one double at the other with it's own shower room, which worked well for us traveling with an 85 year old who needed her own space.
The bus stops right outside the camp and is only £4.00 for a day ticket which you can use on any bus, we went into Edinburgh it saved finding parking and we passed through some lovely villagers on the way.
The swimming pool on side is good with plenty of lifeguards on duty so you feel really save, my Sister said the slide was great but I didn't try it.
The entertainment was not the best we have seen but we did go at the end of the school holidays so felt that things were winding down, but they do check your passes so you will need to buy these to use the pool and entertainment.
A great caravan and Kay was really helpful and only a text away, you need to try for yourselves.
We stayed at the caravan for 7 nights in the October school holidays. Caravan is in an excellent position for entertainment & facilities and has parking right outside caravan. Great communication with owner Kay all queries I had were answered quickly. Caravan is fully equipped and very clean with everything you need for the stay just need the usual every day stuff. I have seen reviews about noise etc at park and the caravan does back on to the playpark but we were at the entertainment on site till 10ish some nights and didn't notice any noise it was a quick 2 minute walk to caravan and our children had no bother falling asleep. The decking is great for sitting out during the day- even tho we went in October we were still able to sit outside while our kids played outside or at park to watch them. The site is great as very accessible to ediniburgh we took the bus one day to Edinburgh had a lovely day out and used the car for other days out. We love seton sands and will def use this caravan again on our next trip to Edinburgh, we had a wonderful time.
very easy to book, great communication with the owner. the caravan is on a haven camp a stone's throw from the beach. you can pay for a 'haven pass' to use their facilities but we didn't bother as so much to do in the vicinity and easy access into Edinburgh with a bus stopping right outside the site. Some of the local castles are cheap to visit and Hailes castle is free - well worth a look. 6 of us stayed in the caravan it is was very comfortable for our needs. there is one double bedroom, a decent size with an en suite. Then down the other end are two small single rooms with the smaller sized single beds. And another bathroom. the shower in this bathroom is quite small but it was handy having the two bathrooms as 4 of us were adults! The only downside was the location of the caravan on the site. it is adjacent to the kids play area. We stayed for just under 2 weeks and most nights there were teenagers shouting and banging things from about 11pm to 12pm. As the caravan has many air vents the sound feels really close. We just put the TV on with a timer and drowned them out!! Other than that we would highly recommend the caravan and we will definitely consider staying here again next year!
