Just arrived back today from Seaton sands. It was myself, husband, 2 year old and baby. On arrival the staff were helpful and polite and when they realised that we didnt drive they moved us too the front of the park so our caravan was with easy walking distance for everything for us.
Our Van itself was a three bedroom deluxe plus with the heating in the bedrooms. I would say that the heating in the rooms was pretty useless and if going this time of year maybe take your own portable heater with you as it does get cold. We had our gas fire on 24/7 and would say it was comfortable but not overly warm. The van itself was clean and fresh on arrival
I found the grounds of the park immaculate but would say that it is smaller than I expected. I think for anytghing older than preschoolers it may be a bit to small and they may get bored.
we were self catering and only eat in the park resturant a few times, i would rank the food as average a bit like a wetherspoons not some were i would choose to eat every night but for the odd occasion was ok. Breakfast for two adults and a kids cooked breakfast was £16 we only done it once preferred eating in the van in the morning. Dinner for a sharing platter 2 adult mains a kids main and a huge sharing ice cream and one drink each came just under £50. There is also a cgip shop on site that was ok and done pastas etc as well which was nice enough. Local chinese resturants alo deliver to the park.
overall we had a good stay and would go back if we got a good enough deal . we only paid £100 for 5 days. wuldnt pay more than that
