Thirty years ago we brought our children to stay in the university accommodation. It was cold then, a half term break. We chose the Premier Inn this time as there reputation is good and we were not disappointed. Although sited by the main road into Stirling there was no night noise from traffic and we had a good nights sleep. the resturant was acceptable with helpful and friendly staff, food was very good too. The next day, Sunday, we toured Stirling Castle and had a very entertaining tour with the audio guide and then a murder tour . The guide was cross between a the younger Crankie and Harry Lauder so you can imagine our hilarity at his expense. It was well done and good fun. The views from the castle are remarkable. The restaurant at the castle did not provide us with a good choice so we departed and drove on to the Inn at Kippen. What a pleasant find. delightful staff and very good homecooked food. recommend this! The a picturesque drive to the eastern shores of Loch Lomond before heading south to Lancashire.

Room clean and warm, staff very friendly.Breakfast not so good, buffet style on a hot plate meant most items dry and hard.Boiling water from a machine which tasted of chemicals.Would not recommend breakfast, far to expensive for the poor quality.

Everything you might expect from a good over night hotel with the benefit of great staff which always makes a deference and helps make this Premier Inn stand out from others in this market sector. We stayed here for three very cold nights, snow and ice but were warm throughout. We found all the staff good, friendly and polite with the ones in the restaurant remembering our name each time we went in. The room has all you need, clean and comfortable and the Inn is well placed for main roads and only 10 mins into Stirling. Would definitely stay again.

The usual premier inn style room - it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep. We got a great rate through booking early.

The restaurant on site was good - it was the chip shop take away night in addition to the usual menu, so we opted for the eat as much as you want chippy deal. Very tasty!

We'd certainly return again as the location was good and the service was good also.

Had to go to stirling for a surprise birthday party this month, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff very very helpful very polite. I did think the breakfast was a bit expensive especially if you were paying for 4 people but it was good quality and once again staff very helpful and explained everything really well.
