Stumbled upon this fab little spot after a trip to visit the Betty's Bay penguins, and we're so glad we did! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service was really friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious.
Special thumbs up go to the chowder, which is outstanding and the Sussex fruit cake (an old family recipe) is to die for! The Xhosa chicken stew is worth a try too. The views from the restaurant are also stunning - great place to while away a few hours over coffee and cake. There's also a lovely-looking little art gallery attached. It was unfortunately closed when we arrived, but the cafe was charmingly decorated with a few interesting little pieces of craft.
