Not catered for Brit’s at all very Russian focused which caused language barriers between staff and British guests.
The rooms and hotel itself is nice very clean and spacious!
Food was average skip breakfast and wait for the snack bar including over lunch evening dinner was crazy it’s like watching animals at the zoo feed at 7pm with the Russians running in the restaurant grabbing as much food as possible, the restaurant is not big enough to seat everyone... my advice wait until after 8pm to eat unless you want to join the madness!
There’s not a lot around the hotel to do it’s in a secluded location off a busy road jump on a dolmus into Alanya or Konakli for more stuff to do, be careful with the small winding steps from the tunnel to get on the other side of the road to get on the dolmus to Alanya their very small and looked like they’ve just been perched there. I highly recommend the fruit stall just outside of the hotel very nice fresh fruit every day for so little money!!

My partner and I stayed at the Blue Fish Hotel for 10 days from 27th April 2018. The hotel had only been opened for the season for 4 days. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly. The Restaurant and Bar Manager, the waiters and the pool bar staff were particularly helpful and friendly (Cihan and Gokhan to name but two).
There weren't too many people at the hotel as it was still at the start of the season. The two pools were spotless as was the hotel and grounds. At the start of the holiday, the food in the restaurant was not very good but improved as the holiday progressed.
On our last day, we had to be out of the room by 1200 hrs but we did not leave the hotel to travel to the airport until 2200 hrs. We had asked, earlier in the day, if we could have a shower after we had finished sunbathing. The receptionist said that we would have to pay 20 Euros. We refused and had a shower at the poolside and changed in the changing room at the beach.
The entertainment at the hotel was non existent, apart from one night when a MALE belly dancer performed !!! The two entertainment staff were rubbish.
Overall we had a FANTASTIC holiday at the Blue Fish Hotel.

The blue fish is very nice hotel but unfortunately doesnt cater for us Brits it's mainly Russian guests who are very rude. Pool is lovely family room overlooking the pool is lovely. The food is ok. There is no day time entertainment and the evening entertainment is kids mini club and the animation team play games and try to get everyone involved but with the language barrier it's hard but they try there best. The hotel is in remote area with just a couple of clothes shops but no bars you have to get a bus or a taxi to alanya or konakli about a 10 mins drive but has lots of shops bars and restaurants. We had a lovely 10 night break but if your expecting grt entertainment, food, beach and places to go on your doorstep this isnt the hotel to come to. Hope you find this helpful.
