Saw the castle from the Autostrada, got off the exit and followed the signs through narrow streets to the castle.
Beware, though, that it is not a well maintained, furnished castle but mere well-kept ruins. For adults, it might not offer enough except for a small glimpse of history.
But they have a game for kids where the child has to follow arrows and tips and learns quite a bit about the history through the eyes of a child from back in time. Awesome! Our five-year old had a blast! (At the end, the kid can earn a small price.)
In the high season, they have a little cafe, I think. The bathrooms were very clean!
The views from the castle are fantastic!
Definitely worth a two-hour stop - if you are interested in history or if you have children.
