My sister and I stayed in this hotel during the night of Saturday 15th October to Sunday 16th October. Hotel Osteria Carletti is as a matter of fact a socalled Ristorante con Allogio. That means a restaurant with lodging possibilities. The hotel is hosted in an old striking building and hard to find if you have to look for it in the dark. But thanks to the modern navigation systems it succeeded very rapidly. The hotel has ample parking possibilities.
The entrance of the hotel is also hard to find, but we took the front door of the biergarten.
Behind the front door you enter a beautiful decorated restaurant area in a Swiss-Italian style, which is also used as a breakfast room in the morning.
We were kindly welcomed by the friendly staff of the hotel.
Through narrow corridors and winding staircases we were brought to our rooms. The rooms are robust and somewhat simple, but they are anyway comfortable and all you need is there. Nice beds and spacious bathrooms. But the walls should be painted.
From my room (# 8) I had a beautiful view over Bedano and the Vedeggio Vallei.
We enjoyed a good meal in the evening and drunk some good wines.
In the morning the breakfast was somewhat sober. We got tea and coffee, some juice, fresh croissants, fresh slices of bread with butter and some jams and Nutella, but we got no cheese or any kind of meat. Most of Dutch people like to have something salty next to all these sweet things with their breakfast! But no problem, the Country's way is the Country's honor!
Anyway, we slept well, we got good food and we were refreshed enough to continue our way back into the direction of Holland!
We like to thank the management for the good Hospitality!
