I was impressed by sheraton when i arrived at the hotel.
However the following have reduce my overall perception of the hotel.
No early check in- it is alright since it is subjected to prior approval and vancancy.
Interior of the room: it was purely understandard for a branded hotel. No anti-slam function when we enter our hotel room. Our door literally slam down once we enter our room without any warning. What a scare!
The furniture inside the room are all so dirty. I mean there are like stains on their chairs, dust on the cupboard? I am pretty sure these are avoidable and at the same time unacceptable.
The renovation at the hotel was simply unbearable. I would not have stay here if i knew that there were renovationgoing on.
Shuttle service was late. Shuttle from hotel to malioboro street is 1 pm. We ask for shuttle service at 1302hrs. They told us it have went off.
Fine. Since we were late. We booked at shuttle service from malioboro road to sheraton at 8pm. And the shuttle service was late. Not for 5min. But 1hour and 10min. I tried calling the hotel reception, which i search for online and tried calling them on their facebook, there was not a single answer. We were left there waiting. No source of communication were available to the hotel. I would strongly suggest the management to update their phone number online, or at any point of time arrange for a staff to be incharge of the phonecall. Who enjoy waiting for an hour?
Went there with high hope. But this hotel is just in a mess. Poor service, enviroment, transport. There are defintely better hotel nearby.
Good volcano view from the room by the way. And close proximity to the airport is a gopd bonus.
