The ride to the Wall of Tears by itself makes it worthwhile going. The trail that goes along the beach all the way to the Wall is simply beautiful. As for the Wall, I found the history behind it interesting - you need a guide to help you understand what this was all about. We need to be reminded at times of the folly of human beings... so that we can strive to avoid repeating it.

About as much fun as you'd expect to have staring at a wall.

A good bike ride at least. Best part was probably the little tortoises they recently reintroduced to the area. Most of the stops on the way are worth skipping. Don't pay for a tour here...

The wall of tears itself is just a wall and not that interesting however the path up there has several places to stop along the way and gives you an opportunity to see some wildlife such as flamingos. We saw several giant tortoises along the way too. I would suggest bike riding there to burn off a few calories and it's probably too long to walk for most people.

If you have a few hours to kill then enjoy a bike ride up and wear off a few cervezas, catch the views from the viewpoint and top of wall then reward yourself with the downhill bike ride back and stop at a couple of beach sites to cool off. Interesting piece of history, watch out for the turtles on the road along the way.

We understood the significance of this place, but after a grueling hour-long bikeride, we kinda wish we hadn't made the effort. It's just a large wall made of volcanic rock. Not impressed. Definitely not worth the effort if you attempt to walk there or bike.
