Rented a bike and peddled with some friends for about an hour, along the coast and with some beautiful views. The road was mostly flat, but then climbed quite a bit near the end. It was a great workout, especially in the unrelenting heat, but is definitely more enjoyable if you are in somewhat good shape. There is definitely plenty to see along the way (or the way back, as we did) - paths to mangroves, 360 degree viewpoints, beautiful beaches, interesting lagoons and lots of marine iguanas. There is a very good chance you will spot a tortoise along the way as well - we saw 2.
The Wall of Tears itself is an interesting structure, although not as impressive as I had envisioned. Since you've come this far, walk the stairs to the top of the wall and beyond and enjoy some amazing views of Puerto Ayora and the a good majority of Santa Cruz island.
It's safe to say that I enjoyed the bike trip and side excursions more than the wall itself.
