I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay- from the beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean and the nature preserve, to the wonderful food (amazing tuna tartare) and the welcoming staff!
Spending an afternoon in the pool overlooking the ocean after a long hike is a dream. Also, being able to walk out from the hotel to the nature preserve and see iguanas, birds and gorgeous flamingos was amazing!

Room Tip: Corner room on the second floor has a balcony with views to the ocean and the nature preserve

Dear Shari R:

We are truly happy to know that you enjoyed your visit to our hotel. We are very proud of our Tuna Tartare, and we´re glad you enjoyed it.
The board walk towards the tortoise breathing center, placed right by the hotel, is one of our favorite, in between all of the many activities that can take place in Isabela.
We hope to have satisfied your expectations of the hotel and trip to the Galapagos Islands.

Best regards

The hotel is modern with a broad terrace and swimming pool our front, a comfortable living room with sofas and upholstered chaises longue. We stayed in the master suite which faced the ocean with a large balcony that overlooked the iguanas crossing! The king bed was deliciously comfortable and the bathroom elegant and well appointed. The place is immaculate. Breakfast was the usual fruits, local pastries, sliced cheese and ham. We asked for scrambled eggs which they provided easily.
The staff is truly exceptional--accommodating, pleasant , everything you'd want in a first class hotel. We didn't eat dinner there so can't comment on that.

Room Tip: Splurge for the master suite, for the view, bed, bath and chaise!

What a lovely small hotel. Quiet, with the surf at your door reminding all of us why we came.
The rooms float in the beautiful surroundings. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. The food great. Our 19 year old son thought he had died and gone to heaven. The hotel was arranged through Adventure Life, a tour group out of Montana with a wonderful travel and environmental ethos. Our guide for the tour was Juan Duran, and he was a gift - worth asking for. What a great way to see the Galapagos and honor the place we came to!

We were fortunate enough to stay at Iguana Crossing when we booked a tour with REI. Totally modern, large rooms, fantastic views from all the rooms. Used the fresh water pool EVERY day after our excursions.
Very clean.
Sleeping with the windows open, listening to the ocean was great.
The staff was incredibly friendly, yet very professional.
Food at the restaurant was great. Pretty good breakfast buffet.
Everything was fantastic.
Just know, when going, that you have to conserve the water. Not just here, but all over the Galapagos.

Room Tip: ask for 8-13-they are all ocean view. other rooms have a view of the pond in the back. 13 is the l...

When we arrived at Iguana Crossing we had the nicest surprise. It was a lovely, modern, clean, small-sized hotel in a quiet location right on a beautiful beach. Each night we slept with our screened doors open and fell asleep listening to the surf. The bathrooms were immaculate and very modern in design. The lobby had the most wonderful lounge where you could meet friends, or go to quietly enjoy a glass of wine and read with a 180 degree view of the beach. Every whim of our group was catered to by a very efficient staff and the manager went out of his way to accommodate us any way he could. I can't imagine a better place to stay on this charming island.

Room Tip: I believe each room had an unobstructed view of the beach overlooking the pool. As the hotel was no...

I stayed at the Iguana Crossing with a travel group from REI in May 2012. We had the most fabulous time, thanks to the manager Daniel. He is the most genuinely friendly person. He truly went out of his way to take care of every detail for us. The hotel has a great hot tub on the rooftop, which is a wonderful place to enjoy a mojito and watch the sunset.
Our room was pristine, and we enjoyed listening to the waves breaking at night. The food is truly top notch. The ceviche is unmatched. The breakfast was also wonderful. The showers are not a big deal, and we were happy to be a part of the conservation effort. The pool is perfectly clean, and I saw a lot of effort going into its maintenance. Thank you for the most memorable stay, it was absolutely perfect.

Room Tip: Rooms with an ocean view cannot be topped!
