I googled this hotel before flying to Davao. We were invited for join a ceremony and mini reunion in Marbel. We stayed in this place. We were all excited because we saw the amenities online (esp the wave pool). Upon arriving the hotel, we were wondering why the entrance is like that -- we have to pass through shell gasoline station. The key card provided doesnt work. They only provide 1 keycard for a room good for 2. Since we only have few hours to swim, we hurriedly went to the wave pool. Sadly, they have their last wave at 4pm. I checked with their pool guys how early they start their wave pool. its at 9am but they require 30 heads in the pool so they can activate the wave. WOW! We did not get to enjoy the pool at all. The wave pool is dirty. Google photos are so nice (expectation vs reality) but in reality, the place isnt well maintained especially in the pool area. The room and toilet is clean and spacious. They have a lot of OJTs which wasnt brief correctly. They asked us to choose which of their free bfast they should prepare for us (12hrs prior). During breakfast, they couldnt serve our orders right. I guess the hotel is not yet ready becuase the city itself is laid back and doesnt have much tourist.

Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Their water park is just a few steps from the hotel. Since the hotel is new, service is yet to be snappy and satisfying. They should really fix their hotel food if they aim to be one of the best hotels in town. Really hoping they'll pull through.
