We've stayed in loads of places that claim to be 'spacious' and 'well-equipped' and then found ourselves squeezing past each other and unable to find a knife that cuts. Not here. Plenty of room inside and out and more or less everything you could need. The pool is great - when the sun is shining - and everybody loved the pool table too.
The village is very quiet but there are shops not too far away and it's worth exploring the local villages for markets and festivals.
We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was great (particularly the large communal areas) however the main attraction for us was the lovely swimming pool and gardens with beautiful views over an idyllic part of France.
I wasn't sure what to expect when we rented this house but it is lovely! It is the owners' main home and you can really tell as everything is to a high standard rather than 'holiday letting standard'. The kitchen is absolutely fabulous. Huge, brilliantly well equipped with tonnes of fridge and freezer space. The pool is absolutely enormous for a private pool and the outdoor areas are lovely and well thought through to offer plenty of relaxation space. The only downside is that the master bedroom suite is on a mezzanine floor with no wall or door separating it from the living room (just a curtain) so it is not very private or quiet when others are awake in the house. That aside, this is a great house to go on holiday to.
