We had similar experience as others. We were promised price included all shipping, and later received a $300+ bill from Fed Ex. THey also shipped some items we didn't pay and charged us for them. You are better off buying from a retail shop in Venice

Good evening, just to inform you that Murano export glass is a shop in Venice and don't have nothing to do with the visit of the island of Murano or the show rooms that you see in that island
Thanks

The Island of Murano is a short Vaporetto trip from Venice proper. I know it's a tourist destination but the range of glassware on display in the scores of shops is impressive. We bought bracelets for children and adult gifts for the family at home. They are well priced ( you can bargain) and small to pack. Some of the glass is too fragile to carry and there are some beautiful pieces. Many of the shops specialise in styles of glass production too. You can oganise factory visits and the sight of the artisans blowing through a long tube and producing a work of art is worth the effort. The boat ride is fun too..take and use your camera.

Thank Gunner do

Visiting Murano is for most people an extra to their trip to Venice, with easy Vaporetto connections it's an interesting way to spend a day away from the hustle of San Marco. Be sure to visit a glass factory to see an expert showing you how they still produce some beautiful glassware, and admire the beauiful displays in their showrooms. (they will ship your buys back to your home address with little or no cost to you)
Lots of little shops with good bargains, and I am always surprised at their patience is showing off their goods.
Round off your trip with a nice lunch in one of the many street cafes.
