“Cannot fault this gorgeous hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

We went all out, and booked the Suite (Rm201) - oh.my.goodness... I think my mouth hit the floor when we entered the room! Huge high ceilings (maybe 16ft?) with exposed beams, and massive chandelier hung from the ceiling, over the biggest bed I've ever seen in my life!!! French doors opened to a small balcony that overlooked the Grand Canal. Huge marble bathroom, with shower, hydrospa bath, toilet, dibet, and large basin / counter. Spectacular room, spectacular view. Breakfast was plentiful and had alot of variety, in a gorgeous dining room. OH! but one of the best things was the location! It was so easy to get to! I'd read several reviews on other hotels about how hard it was to find the hotel... so was v. worried. We took a taxi cab from the airport, which took us to the top of the canal. We took Water Taxi on Route #1, and about 5 stops later, got off at Ca D'Oro, walked about 50m up the laneway to the Hotel courtyard. SO EASY!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend and stay at this hotel again. (The same water taxi - Route #1 - will take you to St Marks Sq and Rialto Bridge too). The water taxi system is very easy to use and understand. (If you arrive by train, simply walk out of the station to the dock, take Route #1, and get off at Ca D'Oro. - it was very easy to get our rolly suitcases on & off the boats too) We absolutely LOVED Venice. **Although it didn't effect us - if you are mobility impaired, Venice may not be the place for you - there are many steps / bridges, and most are not equipped with ramps.**

Room Tip: If you are mobility impaired I think you will really struggle in Venice. This hotel does have a lift...

Pesaro Palace exceeded my expectations. It's quite luxurious with very updated decor. It's also right at a "bus" (boat) stop, so it's incredibly convenient. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms modern and very clean. Breakfast is fantastic and they also have cookies out every afternoon. And, there is a spectacular courtyard where you can have drinks when the weather is nice. Right up the street is delicious gelato at Grom, as well as the Bella supermarket in case you need to pick up any food or drinks. The only bad thing was that the jets in the bathtub didn't work and that was disappointing. Still, this hotel made me feel like a princess!

Spend a few extra dollars and stay in room 201, it is a massive room with well appointed bath room and spa bath.
On a nice sunny day open with windows out on to the balcony and sit out side in the fresh air and watch the world go by.
This was an amazing location and right next to a water taxi stop making it very easy to get to our hotel.
I will stay here again for sure !!

The hotel rooms are great!(not for people with a contemporary choice though)
location is good and the staff is friendly but they speak very less english. The value for money was great because the rates were discounted because of the off season.

Absolutely convenient for arrival and departure with the Co D'Oro water bus stop right at the front door. The rooms are furnished in elegant venetian style, rich fabrics, murano chandeliers and the corner suites have a gorgeous view over the Grand Canal. Book online for the best rates. Everything is within easy walking distance or a scenic vaporetto ride away. This was a warm and welcoming refuge during a snowy cold winter visit.

Excellent hotel on Grand Canal with water bus station right outside. Ideal location for Rialto and pleasant walk to St Marks Square. Worth the upgrade to the junior suite with very spacious room, huge bed and jacuzzi bath. Always clean, staff friendly and courteous. I would reccomend this hotel for anyone looking to get vfm in Venice.
The only downsides were a lack of tea / coffee facilties in room and the small bar closes at 9pm, a little early for a nightcap on return, having said that - I would still book again!

Room Tip: Choose the junior suite - you will not regret it

A beautiful hotel right on the Grand Canal at the Ca D'oro vaporreto station, so couldn't be easier to find. We stayed in a junior suite on the top floor. The room was huge with an emperor size bed, murano glass chandeliers and very tastefully furnished in the Venetian style. The en suite was huge too with a jacuzzi bath and shower. The courtyard garden was beautiful and lit up at night. Good choice at breakfast. Right in the heart of Venice, excellent location. Absolutely loved it.
