Really a tea room with accommodation - but comfortable and welcoming. Wonderfully located in the heart of Cley, a village from a different age! There is parking, our room was okay, we were nice and warm despite it being cold outside - and breakfast was first class. Our stay was good value for money. We could walk straight from the B&B to nature reserves (with Norfolk Wildlife Trust Cley reserve one of the best in the UK), to the Norfolk Coast long-distance footpath, to several really charming and characterful villages (such as Blakeney), and to a couple of excellent pubs (Cookes does excellent lunches and afternoon tea but not dinners). The couple who have been establishing their mark on Cookes for the last couple of years are very friendly and obliging, and I am sure this is an establishment that will thrive. Well worth a visit.
