Borderline tourist trap, though once for lunch was fun. The service was painfully slow, even by "island time" standards (two hours), and the bill was surprisingly high, in part thanks to the "spoken menu" ($60 for lunch for 2, with 2 beers). Owner is quite a character, but charming. Very hot, could use more fans.
Worth trying once, if only to try the iguana (like chicken, but lots of small bones). Enjoyed the food, and it's certainly a unique experience, but you probably shouldn't take too close a look at the food prep area.
Once was enough for us...but we're glad we tried it.
FYI: a couple of miles further down the road is Rancho El Sobrino, a local recommendation which we enjoyed very much, and will try again. See my review w/ pictures
