I'll first start of by saying that there are a lot of restaurants/bars on St. Maarten that are rather expensive. Dinghy Dock Bar is not one of those. Cheap beers, great happy hour and great food. The food is inexpensive - probably $12-16 an entrée. The bar staff is great. Seth, Brian, and Ben (I forgot the chick's name) are all great people who want you to have as much fun as possible. IF YOU ARE YOUNGER - GO HERE FOR HAPPY HOUR - THAT IS ALL.
Okay, now I'll get into my story. I was told to write this story as clean as possible so I will do it in a timeline.
5pm: Arrive for happy hour (that lasts until 7)
6pm: Drinks make you forget about eating (make sure to EAT ALL THEIR DELICIOUS FOOD)
7pm: Happy Hour ends but the fun is just starting. The wait staff joins in on the fun as they play fun music and let you pick songs.
8pm: It's only 8 pm? It feels like 1am. Although happy hour has ended, the beer is still cheap and the ski shot is awesome so you should do that.
9pm: The dancing is in full motion and hints of what the rest of the night holds intrigues the group. Shirts were removed when Hot In Here by Nelly started playing. Food is needed and the kitchen provides greatness.
10pm: The staff (Brian) is basically one of our own at this point. Music is blasting and everyone is happy.
11pm: We're at a strip club. What? Yes, El Capitan. With the majority of the staff. What? Yes, our guides show us the way.
11:45pm: We are back home and are trying to realize what just happened.
8am: Wake up and smile back at a great night.
thank you Dinghy Dock!!
