“Unexpected”

We wanted to try something different and found Bombay Chopsticks. We were able to order online and go pick it up which was nice since we had spent all day in the water, we were tired. SUPER nice people and Chef Remy was so accommodating. He also gave us a free lava cake, which was one of the best I have ever eaten!

“Chef Remy is the best!”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

Tucked in the east part of Cayman Island, this unobtrusive restaurant blew us away! The service and the food was outstanding, the plating was delightful and the personal touch of the staff was uncommon. This was more than just eating some great food. This was a dining experience!

“A Perfect Recipe”
Reviewed June 20, 2014 via mobile

Bombay Chopsticks is, hands down, the best food and dining experience on Grand Cayman. Our host, Chef Remy, has created a perfect recipe of flavors and hospitality, making every guest feel like a personal invitee to his gastric feast. We started with perfectly crispy potstickers and chicken satay with the best peanut sauce I've had anywhere. We moved on to mahimahi done three ways (the chutney was amazing, vindaloo shrimp and Singapore noodles. The vindaloo had just the right amount of heat and the noodles were delicious. We savored our meal with a reasonably priced bottle of proseco, and Chef Remy treated the ladies with me to a lemon drop to cap off the night. We were rather late arrivals and ended up closing the place with the chef and his staff at about 9:30 and got to visit with Remy about his story and journey toward creating this happy little place. If you're a sucker for complex flavors and personal attention, you will love Bombay Chopsticks, but don't expect a high brow formal affair. Chef Remy's culinary skill and genuine hospitality don't need to hide behind any camouflage of that sort.

“Great spot on the east end of Grand Cayman”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

Went to this restaurant on the advice of our concierge and it did not disappoint! It was very close to our resort, The Reef, so the trip was not long at all. BE forewarned it is not a big restaurant inside but what it lacks in space it makes up for in service and food! The only minor complaint we as a group of 3 had was the Chicken Satay appetizer was a tad overcooked but still the flavor of it was delicious. The waiter was not only attentive but also willing to alter the dishes per each of our wishes. I dined on the Mixed Chow Mien which one of the best Asian Noodle dishes I have ever eaten! Our other two meals were the Sweet and Sour Chicken and a Spicier type chicken which I can't recall the name of. Both were outstanding. We took dessert to go, the sticky toffee pudding which was phenomenal! To top it all off the head chef gave the three of us a ride back to the resort rather than have us wait for a ride to pick us up. He was incredibly friendly and his story of how he cam to live in Cayman was very cool. All in all it was a great evening. I have read other reviews about the size and atmosphere and I agree if you are looking for candle light and romance and high end surroundings this will not meet your desires but if you are looking for amazing service, outstanding food and great people it would be hard to find any better than Bombay Chopsticks.
