Over a four month stay on GrandCayman we went many times to Tukka. The food was always good and fun. Surprising foods were offered, vegetarians can eat well there, questions are answered with grace and good humour, seating is prompt and there are no "bad" seats in the place! The view is great, the fish and bird feedings fun to watch, everything is fresh, portions are generous and the Sunday buffet is planned to have something delightful for every taste. All the staff are trained to be good to guests and we really appreciated being made to feel that our patronage of the restaurant was appreciated and enjoyed. Most amazing? They sent a car, yes, free, to pick us up from the resort we were staying in and took us back after our meals. We took all and every one of our many visiting family members to Tukka while they were with us and every one came away singing the praise of the management, staff, food and welcome. Good on you Mates. They are our first choice for all the above reasons.

The atmosphere, service & food at Tukka's was excellent. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The lobster bisque was fantastic! They also provide shuttle service to & from the local resorts.

We read some reviews before our trip May 7-12th, and had it on our list to try, but were truly blown away by the great food and outstanding service at Tukka. We had dinner on our first night, and then returned for Mothers Day brunch, which was over the top....at least 50 items, all home made, from Australian BBQ, to fusion salads, to local fish and incredible desserts. Service both times was on par with top notch U.S. restaurants, and the owner continually was making rounds to make sure everything was on par. There is a vibe in this place, and it carries through from the food to the beautiful seaside setting.

Well the location is killer - RIGHT OVER the water and the food ... well - we had the kebabs and they are AWESOME - we also ordered a great bottle of Caymus red wine and it was well priced and YUMMMEEEEEEE. The owner Ron stopped at our table to say hi and this was a nice touch. This is a must do whether you are staying in the East End or on Seven Mile beach - just awesome!!!!
