Went the week of December 16th. .staying on the north side so no big drive..lion fish tacos? Yes please! A must try..The fish was wonderful with a great sauce. Had surf n turf? Had the dessert sampler...great drinks, our server was very good and we even had our picture taken by the hostess and added to their FB page..she also offered to take our pic with my phone. One of the best meals we had on the island and a must visit. Sit outside, the view is to die for. .

We came here for lunch while we were exploring the East End of the Island. Service was very slow and everything we had was just okay. We had piña coladas to start and the ice was not blended very well so they were essentially "on the rocks." For appetizer we had a shrimp and lobster spring roll and this was a basic fried spring roll. I could not taste or even find lobster or shrimp in it, although I didn't dissect too thoroughly. I had a mahi mahi hoagie which came with a nice fresh salad and homemade dressing. It was good but there was very little fish on it. I put all of the fish on half of the bread and it was not overfilled. The tartar sauce had a curry kick which was nice. My husband had the Kangaroo bangers and mash. It was pretty good. If you are wondering what kangaroo sausage tastes like, don't get too excited. It tastes like sausage. The setting was beautiful, with a deck overlooking the water and wreckage of the "Ten Sails."

Tukka has a rare combination of terrific location, good food and friendly service. We have gone to Tukka numerous times each of the last three years and we have never left without feeling like it was a wonderful evening. Fish Friday is great, the Lion Fish ceviche is excellent and the burgers are fantastic. It is also fun to watch them feed the birds and the Tarpin in the afternoon (5 pm, I think).

Congratulations to Chef Ron. He has not missed a thing. The food is really wonderful, fresh and creative. The staff and quality of service is the best on the island. We had dinner there the first night of our 9 day vacation and enjoyed it so much we went back twice more!!! Each time, we we tried something different and shared bites with each other. Just a great time and wonderful food. You must do TUKKA when you visit Grand Cayman.

The variety and quality is unmatched. We had picky eaters and adventurous eaters, and everyone was thrilled with the food. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Hammocks under the deck to watch the tarpon and frigate bird feeding. Incredible view.

Tukka can't be beat on GC.
