What a very eclectic cool place in the EAst End, the variety is awesome. Food fantastic and service is great, warm and friendly. Always on my list of places to eat when I go to the Caymans and I go every year. I am so glad the opened up in the East End.

“Yummy and amazing spot on the water!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

We heard about this place from the couple sitting in the seats in front of us on the plane trip over. They are regulars on the East End and eat here frequently. So, we decided to give it a try, as it sounded so good! We had been out driving the East End of the island just to see what it was like and to check out a couple of recommended snorkeling sites. We were there for lunch and sat at a table on the deck overlooking the beach area and the water. Let me get the food review done before I totally forget to tell you about it, as our lunch was only part of the experience!! I had the Lion fish Tacos with the spicy salsa on the side and the yummy slaw. It was my first time to have the opportunity to try Lion Fish. It was quite good, with a light flavor and was very good prepared in the tacos! Gary had the Pulled Jerk Pork Quesadilla, which I tried a bite of as well and it was was yummy also! The service was great and very friendly and we were really glad that we went there. Besides being a great eatery, the place is in a terrific location!! Looking off at the barrier reef, you can see the wreckage of the Ten Sail sitting atop the reef. not to mention the incredibly gorgeous water! Right at the shoreline, just yards away, you can watch tarpon coming right up into the shallows to feed on small fish, while Frigate Birds wheel overhead! We even spotted a small Nurse Shark come right up to the shoreline to feed. Well, part way through our meal, a couple of the staff who work there went down to the beach area to feed the Frigates and fish the trimmings from the fresh fish from the kitchen!! What a treat!!! Frigates are ocean-going (pelagic) birds who are not normally seen this close up, but, these have learned where there is a free meal!! The guys would toss pieces of fish into the air and these magnificent birds would swoop down to catch it or scoop it out of the water if they missed. They also tossed some into the water, and the Tarpon and the Shark would come in to grab their lunch as well. It is a fun experience for kids of all ages!!
Be sure to go eat at Tukka for lunch at least once, it is truly a great experience!!!

“Tukka's great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

We didn't know anything about Tukka, but are staying on the East End of Grand Cayman close to the restaurant and decided to try it. Great food, great friendly service and fantastic outdoor porch setting. Interesting menu selections makes it even more appealing.

“walkabout wednesday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

visited June 12. great dinner and great view on the east end. 4 course meal on Wednesday for $40 CI, which included appetizers with crocodile and main meal with kangaroo. for the money you spend on upscale dinners on the island, this was an awesome night while on our honeymoon. a drink and desert is also included in the price. super polite wait staff, very friendly. if your going to spend the cash for an upscale dinner, Tukka would certainly be at the top of the list in my book, especially if you are staying on the east end at Morritt's or something on that side of the island. next trip to Cayman, we will definitely come back to Tukka!

“Fantastic Everytime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Me and my family went to Tukka's three times during our stay: it was that good! We started with Sunday Brunch with the unlimited champagne and it was out of this world. The fresh barbecue and carving station were great. Even the kangaroo sushi was good! Next we did lunch (the lion fish tacos are to die for) and finally Fresh Fish Friday for dinner. Worth every penny! The service was great and the bucket of beer is great too!

Special shout-out to Tido!!!
