“Expensive but one of Cayman's best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

We were reluctant to eat here because of the high prices. However, it is one of the best restaurants, at least on the north/east end. Menu, food preparation and presentation are very good. Try the shooters after the meal.

Thank you for visiting Tukka, we are happy that you enjoyed your meals! Calling us "One of Cayman's Best".... now that is awesome!!

It is unfortunate however that you have mislabeled us as expensive...

We pride ourselves for having a WIDE selection of dishes in the lower price range. Over 60% of our main course dinner dishes are priced below $25. We have EIGHT main courses priced from $14-$19. Where else can you get a Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon with sides for just $19...? Amazing! We also have another SEVEN dishes UNDER $25...covering all the bases from Seafood to Beef to Pork and Pastas! If that wasn’t enough…we do an incomparable HAPPY HOUR Mon-Fri 3-6pm: All House Wines & Mojitos and more for just $6!! And you can feast on Calamari, Salmon sliders, or Lionfish tacos for just $4 each…. Seriously!!

All that plus Oceanfront dining and exceptional service in the beautiful Cayman Islands!

Kind Regards, Chef Ron

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Tukka came recommended from the local dive masters and it was simply fantastic: food, service, ambience--all excellent! It was so good the first night, we went back the next! It could be considered a little pricey--like all things on Cayman--but Tukka is worth every penny. Chef/owner Ron picked us up from the Morritts without hesitation when we called, and we were soon enjoying some of the more exotic appies: conch and croc fritter, lionfish taco, kangaroo. All the appetizers and meals are superbly prepared and presented, and there's a good variety of food types for all tastes. Service was great (friendly and knowledgeable) and deck or beach tables have great views. They've thought through everything, including simple activities to occupy the younger kids while mom/dad enjoy their meals.

OBTW, Ron has the most complete selection of Bundaberg rums I've ever seen : )

Highly recommended!

“Surprise”

This place did not look too good from outside, but it was so different from the inside.

Nice place and really good burgers. Try the lobster tail as extra.

“Amazing brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

Had the Sunday brunch for $30CI. Lots and lits of food- kangaroo sushi, spanish chicken, soups. There was too much and I wanted to try it all. The bbq outside was great. Bgrilled shrimp, chicken and steak on skewers was so tasty. Make reservations as it fills up. Ask for table outside. Very friendly staff
