Chef’s Warehouse Constantia is a credit to its staff, owners and the vineyard. The tapas for two menu was superbly executed, and we honestly loved every dish. Highlights include the venison tartare and the lamb belly.
Just as impressive as the food were the wines on offer, brave combinations of grapes and very well suited to the menu. The only tiny nit pick would be to suggest a full flight of wines, to complement each course, but even without this we thoroughly enjoyed our choices.
For any restaurant operating at this level however, the product is one element, but just as important are the staff and their level of service. All of the staff we encountered were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive, they are a credit to their team.
Overall a fantastic experience, and most importantly delicious evening out. Oh and the view isn’t bad either!
