Stayed here a few nights with son and his young family while attending a wedding locally. The cottage was exactly right for us with a spacious, comfortable open-plan living and dining area where the children could play happily and we could relax. Wonderful long views over the High Weald and children (of all ages) enjoyed the company of friendly sheepdogs, Boss and Fly, and observing the grazing animals.
Everything was clean, beds soft, and two bathrooms with instant hot water meant no morning queues to get ready.
Owners Adrian and Jane friendly, welcoming and very informative.
Beautiful spot, perfect stay!
We stayed at this lovely farm with our dogs. Beautiful location and off the beaten track, perfect for a relaxing retreat. The converted barn was full of oldie worldie charm but with all mod cons including a very good wifi connection and dishwasher etc. Lovely comfy beds with a skylight so you can see the stars at night. It is a working farm but there are no restrictions and can walk about freely. The animals are beautifully kept with loads of space and a pleasure to see. There are pigs but they are kept fenced off in a large wooded area well away from the barn, we loved popping down to see them but if they are not your thing that is ok. They had lots of room and a number of wallows, pig heaven in fact. There was an amazing field full of wildflowers too. Took loads of photos. We and our dogs loved it. The area also has lots to offer including Bewl water, a number of national trust places and the lovely Bell pub in Ticehurst if you dont want to cook. A real nice old fashioned English countryside retreat.

A very peaceful, relaxing stay. We loved feeding the lambs each morning and walking through the spectacular flower meadow. Will definitely be back soon!
