We stayed here in October 2013. The views were great but we had NO hot water in our room. We were charged $100 US for the room, and they said they only excepted cash, on our way out of town we seen a sign advertising rooms at this hotel for $79, hmm to bad we didn't notice this when we arrived into town. The restaurant was closed, pool was dirty and unusable. The palapa bar closed. Did I mention the we DID NOT have HOT water for showers in the morning..

Room Tip: Don't bother.

This is a little outside the town, and nice for birding. The hotel is not very old, and the facilities we quite attractive, thought the restaurant was not open when we were there, and the pool didn't seem ready for swimming. We were the only guests, and didn't have reservations, so that may be understandable. There were some repairs to be made, and my sister-in-law thought her room wasn't very clean. My wife and I thought it fine.

We were there in late October.

I have to say I receive much more than expected from a virgin area resort in Bahia de Los Angeles. The service was far superior our chef made meals according to our liking and appetite. The website does not do it justice, the resort is beautiful. I loved to see the many exquisite details in and around the resort. The deep blue ocean was breath taking from our ocean front suite, the weather perfect nice warm days. The dedication to the resort is evident in accommodations, service and hospitality. Thank you for making our stay memorable. See you next year

Room Tip: Ocean front suites are a must, you open your door site out in your personal deck and enjoy the view...

after riding over 200 miles off road from san felipe to bahia de los angeles and staying in many other places in the last few years, by far the best place to stay... we were so like as to have our own chef "charlie" he was the best! we told him what we wanted for breakfast lunch and dinner and he hook it up, it's Baja!!!

We would highly recommend this place - After driving around for over an hour, this was the only place that we found that's actually ON the beach and it's very nice and the price was great... They have a great restaurant & bar,a pool and we ate there right in front of our room outside a few times - - - You must try chef Charley's food - -it's excellent and he'll prepare almost anything exactly the way you want it, or his own recipes - also very good.. (it's not like a US spa/resort, nor do they charge those prices, nor do I think others should compare it to those places) This is a place/area that just got electricity a few years ago...Our rooms were clean and we have no complaints --Our little dog loved it there too...All of the Islands are a one of a kind thing to see -- Bring your camera and also make sure to go on a boat and/or fishing tour... Great job guys and we'll see you again !

Room Tip: All rooms are in about the same location - -Recommend the south side rooms

I went to Los Vientos Resort with my family during spring break. Very tired from the long drive, the employees welcomed us with open arms, we had dinner in their beach front restaurant and recived great service. We had tthe beach front governors suite that was very nicely furnished. The next day the employees set up reservations in the town for us to go deep sea fishing. The fishing was great, we got to see the many islands that were by the cove and even got to see wales. It was a bit windy like the name of the resort says, but the experience and all the wild life we got to see was a one in a lifetime experience. If i was to go back, I would only stay at Los Vientos, I would highly recommend Los Vientos to family and friends if they were looking for a nice getaway with great fishing, plenty wildlife, excellent service and very nice rooms. One of the days we went in to town and looked at the other hotels and compared them to Los Vientos, of course nothing compared. The other hotels were very ugly and the staff didnt speak english nor were as nice and helpful as Los Vientos staff. The employees were great, the pool was really nice and the beach was very clean and well maintained.

Room Tip: beach friont units are the best ....

Arrived late afternoon to find one local person at the reception. We had booked a suite with 2 bedrooms for 4 adults and 1 teenager. The room he showed us was no where near a suite it had 3 queen side separated by a wall and no doors with one bathroom. So we asked him to see other rooms. At last we found one with 2 queens and 1 he called Single room which had one kingsize bed however the room was not clean!! So we said we will take the rooms and asked him to clean them up. We walked to the sea front to find the restaurant was closed. The pool was filthy and only half filled!? There was no water in the pool side restrooms. American guy came over and told us he will open the restaurant for us named Charlie's by the Bay. He made us coffee which was like warm and came in all sorts of diff cups & sizes. He said that he was still waiting for a delivery for kitchen cutlery!!? He was friendly with typical American charming stories told us he was an ex Navy Seal and he owned the restaurant! We had lunch which was less than average for a toasted cheese & tomato sandwich :( We drove into town and saw couple of places for dinner. Came back thought we will have showers and go grab dinner. Charlie said the they will put the boiler on for us to have shower however there came NO hot water and 3 of us had no shower and 2 had cold showers!? NOT HAPPY. Next morning we had breakfast at Charlie's to give him benefit of the doubt after lunch when he said he ran out of gas!! Least to say we should have stuck to our guy instinct and shouldn't have eaten there - WORST breakfast ever. We all had omlettes and 3 put of 2 was cold we had to ask him to nuke it in the microwave!!? charged us $8 each for a lowsy breakfast. Anyhow DO NOT STOP here until u have seen the rooms and tried out hot water. Don't fall for Charlie's charm he's a lowsy chef and he should quit while he's ahead! We left this hell hole one day early and went to stop in a BajaCactus Motel in El Rosario for $40 per night in a 5 star room and amazing hot shower.
