We decided to pop in for a "quick look" to see if the on line reviews and the unbelievable menu prices were true. The welcoming landlord and friendly locals meant that we stayed all evening and since the £4 Sunday roast had sold out (hardly surprising) we had chilli con carne and a couple of pints apiece of some excellent Wadworth ale. We were told the chilli was fairly mild to cater for all palettes, but provided with a bottle of fiery chili sauce to pep it up if required - a good compromise, so that we had exactly the heat we wanted.

A marvellous find with great food, drinks, staff, customers and ambience. It deserves more than 5 stars for value!

Not much else to say!! Stopped today with my mum and dog. All were made very welcome. A proper PUB. Not a restaurant, If I lived closer I would be in there every day.
Food amazing value. Try it! And the menu doesn’t have the word ‘jus’ on it

We stopped off here at around 4pm on Saturday afternoon having arrived as the kitchen closed at another pub. The Coach and Horses is a good old fashioned pub. No fancy interiors etc but friendly staff and very competitively priced food. I had the fish pie, my other half pie & Chips and our friend Gammon, egg and chips. All for just over £10. Swift friendly no frills service and good plain cooking. Will definitely visit again. Outside seating available, clean bathrooms. A great asset to this village.
