Even when you arrive at this pub you know it's going to be good. The setting is spectacular, opposite the most beautiful little church in a small, lovely Oxfordshire village. The pub itself is old, traditional and very cosy, and the staff are extremely welcoming. The food is more expensive that you would expect from a standard pub, but this is nothing like standard food - it is clearly cooked with love and passion. If you like fish and they have a fish special, go for it - they really know how to choose and cook them. I recommend you book at weekends - it is small and understandably popular.
