We cannot recommend 'Our Jungle House' more highly. Gonthong was amazing at responding to all my questions and emails.

We stayed in Liana and Happy Nest Tree houses and loved them both. HappyNest was much more spacious so good for larger families. We loved waking to a little monkey in the trees outside our treehouse, just wonderful!

We ate in the restaurant as it felt easier with younger kids, we found the Thai food to be excellent and really tasty. The staff are all wonderful and cannot do enough to make their guests happy.

Gonthong organised our trip to Cheow Lan lake which was amazing, truly a beautiful place. We also took a kayak trip down a local river which was organised by the team at Our Jungle House and was stunning too!

Thank You Our Jungle House for making our trip so memorable, we loved it!!

Room tip: Liana and Happy Nest, staying on the river in any of the tree houses would be special

I stayed 2 nights at "Our Jungle House" in the Garden bungalow. It was a comfortable cabin and less expensive than the tree-houses. It was fine for me. Food at the restaurant was delicious, carefully prepared and reasonably priced. Good coffee! The staff were all pleasant and professional. I was especially grateful to the management who helped organize my visit to Cheow Lan Lake in the national park -- a spectacular day trip, which is not to be missed. Our Jungle House -- and the more recently built sister operation, Our Jungle Camp Eco Resort -- seem to be very professionally run and committed to customer satisfaction.

Room tip: The tree-houses are fun. The ground level "Garden bungalow" is convenient to the restaurant.

The treehouses are great and the whole place is really nice. Kids had fun in the river just down our house with the rings provided. The staff was really nice and helpful, especially with the kids and babies. Wonderful place in the middle of the jungle and all you can hear at night is the nearby monkeys !
We stayed there as a group of 3 families and we all had a great time.

My wife and I and our daughter stayed at Our Jungle House for 3 nights in February 2021. Our cabin, Liana, was the last one on the jungle path. The cabin was impeccably clean. There is no A/C but none was necessary. There is a fan and the beds are covered with mosquito nets which work well.

The sounds of the jungle were amazing and amplified by the quiet setting; cicadas in the evening came to life and in the morning we were awakened by the "howling/wooing" of the gibbons. Loved it!

We did have some macaques land on the roof one morning and created a bit of a disturbance but they did not cause any serious problems. Follow the hotel instructions and don't leave food in your room and they won't be interested.

The local naturalist gave two talks, both of which were entertaining. We also took a 2 hour walk with him around the grounds and we highly recommend it.

The restaurant was also a highlight, we had many yummy meals and they catered well to our families tastes, including a vegetarian. I give the restaurant staff an A+ for their efforts.

The hotel staff were excellent in helping us book tours. We took one tour on the lake and highly recommend it. They arranged the boat and guide and since the tourists are almost non-existent, we had the lake to ourselves.

We also did a "combined" hike to see the Rafflesia flower and then to the "waterfalls". This is a non-standard hike and we don't recommend it. The hike to the flowers would be find and so would the hike to the waterfalls but the combined hike ended taking us down the fall-line of the waterfalls, clinging to vines and knotted ropes. Unless you are very physically adept, this can be difficult and even then, it is a bit treacherous. I doubt that the guides have any plan to rescue someone who falls and this is not a low-risk. I recommend doing the two hikes separately. The combined hike took us 8 hours and we were concerned with darkness, not a good feeling.

All that said, we highly recommend "Our Jungle House". They were make your Khao Sok experience wonderful.

Room tip: Make sure and book a tree-house. It is a truly unique experience!

Dear Banuwati,

Thank you for taking your time to share your experience from your stay at Our Jungle House. We are glad to hear that you truly enjoyed and understood the nature surrounding us very well. Indeed, monkeys will leave our guests alone when there's no food between you and them. (They love our kitchen very much though.)

Having our own naturalist at site is indeed a valuable component of our resort as he added the understanding and care for nature in depth to what we are working toward.

I will pass your kind compliment to our kitchen and restaurant staff. They are very good at keeping and delivering the consistent standard and taste of the variety of menu to our guests.

Trust that your journey onwards went well and that you had a wonderful holiday altogether.

Warm regards,
Gonthong

When planning our trip to Khao Sok national park, Our Jungle House was the most responsive in handling inquiries so we chose to stay there. Our Sunshine room was perched in a tree facing the river stream and a cliff. It had more than what you would expect in such environment: hot water and AC! The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the bar upstairs very pleasant. The resort organized for us a Rafflesia hike which was quite strenuous but we were rewarded with 3 in blossoms in full bloom and many buds. Highly recommended place to stay when visiting Khao Sok National Park.

Dear TequilaPepita,

Thank you for sharing your experience of staying at Our Jungle House. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our delicious food and hanging out at the bar during your stay.

During the time you were here, the temperature dropped nicely that it did make us feel like a powerful a/c even though our rooms are equipped with fan only. Many guests showed up and requested for more blankets for this unexpected cool air. You were one of the lucky guests to experience to be here that week. (It's still cool at night but not winter-like.)

Trust that you journey onward was pleasant.

Warm regards,
Gonthong
