Our family stayed here in the middle of our trip and was so lovely to come to such a nice place and relax. The tree houses were great and yes you do get some bugs & critters, but it's all part of the experience. The restaurant was lovely and food and drinks very reasonably priced. The upstairs bar had a large selection of games which was a nice way to end the evening. From here we did the overnight lake tour, and this was a once in a lifetime experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip however it must be noted when they say this is going back to basics they definitely mean it. It is a mattress on the floor, no aircon, no mozzie nets, no wifi, not even any power until the evening. Between 6:30 - 10pm is your time to charge any devices needed. Personally I enjoyed the serenity of it and it was lovely to "switch off" however my teenagers weren't as fond as I having to go a night without social media. The lake tour, hike and food (all meals provided) were fantastic, the bar sell only beer so if you are after any other alcoholic beverages it is recommended you take your own.
