We stayed at Our Jungle Camp for 2 nights as a break from travelling around the major cities of Thailand. On arrival, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink each.
One thing to note is that the place does not accept card and adds everything to a tab for you to pay in cash on check-out.
We had a one story tree house, which was stunning. There is no air con but plenty of fans and a mosquito net provided. You can hear every sound around you for the proper jungle feel!
The restaurant and bar is a short walk away, with loads of food, Thai and Western, to chose from. These meals are slightly more expensive than what we had experienced in Thailand previously but it’s to be expected at a resort! Happy hour is also brilliant with cocktails for 100 baht (about £2.50).
There are loads of tours to chose from - including yoga, massages, kayaking, etc. We opted to do the full day at Cheow Lake, which involved a boat ride, kayaking, swimming and an optional cave hike - inclusive of lunch and transfers. The tour guides are brilliant and the scenery unforgettable.
I would definitely recommend a stay at the Eco Resort - especially for those wanting to adventure out into the National Park!More
