Myself, my 4 year old, my mate and her 5 year old, arrived at Cresswell Towers on Friday for a weekend away, booked through a Sun holiday promotion. The Silver or 'Luxury' caravan we were given (we'd paid for an upgrade) was filthy, and apart form the odd wipe here and there did not appear to have been cleaned. There was a razor next to the steps into the caravan, and a pair of dirty pants in the living room cupbaord - discovered to my horror by one of the kids! We managed to spend the night, only because we had our own bedding, but even then it was a struggle. On Saturday morning we couldnt bear it any longer and packed up our things. We complained at reception as we were leaving and they convinced us to consider a Gold caravan instead. We agreed to look at it, and though it was better it still didnt seem that clean, and so we left. The week before we'd stayed in another caravan park and had a brilliant weekend, but this just wasnt the case at Cresswell Towers. It feels run down, tatty, and just plain dirty. Such a shame as location appeared so lovely.
