“Charming atmosphere with great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

Myself and my partner often visit here for lunch or evenings out with friends, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the menu is always refreshing, a mix of classic and a la carte! Beautiful gardens and lovely warming interior, very traditional country property but with a touch of elegance, highly recommend a visits!

“Real English Pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

The "Oak" is located in Westwood Glen,Tilehurst in a quiet road.It serves a good variety of real ales, with a darts team, pool table, and a lively tribe of anglers. It does not however, serve food at present.the landlords are friendly and very welcoming. If you are a real ale fanatic-give it a go !
